Patrick Michael Walsh beloved husband of Patricia of Airdrie, passed away on Thursday, March 18, 2010 at the age of 72 years.Pat moved to Fort McMurray, Alberta in 1980 from Norris Point, Newfoundland and retired in 2002 as a long time Suncor – Oil Sands employee. He was always a hard working man, who enjoyed a good time and good humor. He especially enjoyed sports of any kind and spending time with his grandchildren. Family gatherings and for that matter any gathering he went to was enjoyed by Pat. He enjoyed talking to people everywhere he went.Besides his loving wife Patricia, Pat is survived by his sons, Paul (Cindy), Patrick “Scott” (Tania), and Peter (Crystal); beloved grandchildren, Andrea, Matthew, Meagan, Travis, Kennedy, Nicholas, and Carter. Pat is also survived by siblings, Gretie Parsons, Sadie (Bob) Carew, Michael (Mildred) Walsh, Mary Shultz, Linda (Colin) Hutchings, Barbara (Neil) Hynes, Marie (Wayne) Hynes, Rose Marie Walsh (sister-in-law), Patricia Decker, and Brent Walsh; in-laws, Blair (Wanda) Williams and Michael (Helen) Cohoon; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Pat was predeceased by a infant son and daughter; siblings, Jerome, John “Jack” Walsh, and Iona Carew; parents, Richard and Julia “Ann” Walsh; and in-laws, Harry and Francis Cohoon.
